This question is asked over and over from anyone learning about electronic cigarettes. I can give you my own personal views on this topic and show you some documentation on it.
Let me first start out saying to me, E-cigs (e-cigarettes) are not a smoking cessation. To me it’s a healthier way to smoke. It is a smoking alternative. I personally have lowered my nicotine to only 4mg, eventually I will lower it to ZERO nicotine. I had a heart attack in November 9th 2009 and lowering my nicotine to zero will help lower my health risks to my heart. I will continue to vape when I hit zero nicotine I love the hand to mouth and exhaling. I found that a lot of my “habit” was just that the hand to mouth and exhaling motions.
When I started vaping I noticed after a few months I started to breathe better. I no longer woke up coughing, or wheezing. Soon after that, my sense of smell and taste were greatly improved. Amazing how I could smell anyone that smoked around me. I personally feel healthier and I have a lot more energy because of the rise of oxygen in my blood stream. There has been a lot of talk about the FDA and e-cigarettes. Let me state my stand on this. I personally wish the FDA would get involved and study it. Then they will also see the benefits of e cigarettes compared to smoking regular cigarettes. If the FDA gets involved we will have standards that each and every juice vendor would have to follow for the safety of the customers. Also the mod (modification of a device to create a vaping unit) developers will create products safer for all of us.
Remember this first and foremost vaping is an alternative to smoking regular cigarettes. Research every bit you can about e cigarettes, find forums, ask friends watch vaping shows on Stickam. No matter where get informed before you start.
